The World’s Only Paratrooper Priests with “Flying Chapels” are Orthodox.

Have you ever seen a “flying” church or a paratrooper priest?

For some time now, Orthodox Christian chaplains serving in the Russian armed forces have been using a special, self-assembling chapel that can be parachuted into remote locations.

As the narrator of the YouTube report above says:

The Russian military has implemented an innovative way to provide prayer services in the battlefield. According to the Russian media outlet, RT, the Russian military claims it has built the world’s only flying chapel.

It’s a specialized self-assembly church that can be parachuted into war zones. The church will have everything required for prayer services including crucifixes and bells. It will also have its own refrigerator, air-conditioning unit and a mini-theater.

Additionally, the Sun reports, they are training a group of paratrooper priests who will hold those church services.
