WAR IS APPROACHING

                Our religious leaders with their many prophecies have indicated to us that many terrible things are coming.  Generally speaking, the incidents are as follows:  A battle will take place in the Mediterranean and Turkey will attempt to take from us some of our islands which will result in Turkey attacking us. But this venture will boomerang on it and the result will be that we will again take control of Constantinople.  This will happen because of our attempt to extend our coastal boundaries.  At the present time, our coastal boundaries extend out to six miles from our islands.  We consider this our sovereign property.

                In concert with International Law, we have the right to extend our coastal boundaries to twelve miles but Turkey has indicated that if we do this, it will go to war with us.  The outlook on the extension of our territorial boundaries is most likely since this effort will allow us to fix our financial problems.  Let us now look at which events have been advanced as a prelude to war:

                A) IN THE NEAR FUTURE—The Elder Paisios has indicated that our generation will live to see these things.  In fact, he had hoped that he could live a few more years so that he could see these things happen.  He died in 1994.  In fact, there were many people that visited his monastic cell and he told them that they would find work in Constantinople after the war.  In fact our engineers who will enter Constantinople received his blessing for this.

                B) FAMINE—The Elder Paisios said that we would suffer a great famine that will last for a few months and that after this the war will start.  It does take a great deal of intelligence for us to understand that he is talking about now, as we have seen from the chronology of events.  In fact these events may become even worse since we will be suffering starvation. If this does not happen in the second millennium into which we are entering, we will certainly suffer from poverty.

                C) THE BUILDING OF THE IGNATIUS ROAD—The Ignatius Road will be finished in 2009 and it is referred to in a prophecy St. Kosmas of Aitolos.  When the Ignatius Road is built the soldiers travel over it.

                D)  CYPRUS—Saint George Hotzevitis said that the war would happen because of Cyprus. You can see in the news what is happening Oil Drilling Zone of Cyprus and you will understand better.  Turkey has already deployed a fleet of ships and many solders near Costelorizo.  And just recently it has been announced to the public that in 2005 Greece signed an agreement with Cyprus that it would defend the island against Turkey in the event of a war over the Oil Drilling Zone. 

                E)—KOSMAS AITOLOS—Said when you see the gathering of many force in Greek waters, then the issue of Constantinople will be resolved.  A fleet of six Russian warships will be in the Mediterranean up until the month of March.  One of these ships will be a huge aircraft carrier.  The government announced that it will protect Oil Drilling Zone.  It is very clear that something indeed is going to happen with Oil Drilling Zone because to the huge economic issues benefits that are at stake there.

-----TELEVISION—EMBASSIES—The Elder Paisios said that the war would be near when television reports will announce the extension of the six mile boundaries.  We will be even closer to the war Turkey and Greece will recall their respective ambassadors from Istanbul and Athens.

                F)—PERSONALITIES—Saint Kosmas of Aitolos had said that Constantinople will revert to Greek control when a Russian will be named the bear.  Paradoxically the prime minister of Russia since 2008 is Medvedev which means bear.  He also said that all of us should be afraid of the person who is referred to as the blessed one for he does not have the blessing of God.  In spite of the fact that the Elder Paisios had interpreted that the Pope would be the Antichrist, Saint Com as said that his prophecies had a double meaning.  Therefore Barak (Obama) has the meaning in many languages as the blessed one.

                G—DAMMING UP THE EUPHRATES—The Elder Paisios prophesied that once the Turks dam up the Euphrates two hundred million Chinese are preparing to march over the Euphrates in preparation for the war.  Today, the Euphrates has many dams named Kemal Ataturk.  These dams can at any time completely stop the flow of the Euphrates.

                H—LA ROUCHE—It is strange that the American LaRouche predicts exactly the same things that the Elder Paisios says without him being a member of our Church.  KISSINGER—He recently said that the third world war is being prepared.  It is clear that he is not a fervent Christian. 

                Turkey will attack us and most likely take some of our islands.  But this will be done without any battle.  But in doing this, it will be the end of her. “She will have kollyva* on her belt according to Paisios.” Kollyva is the boiled wheat that Orthodox Christians use to commemorate the dead.  As soon as her naval fleet prepares to attack Greece and Greece prepares to fight back by land Russia will intervene.  Russia will invade Turkey and will literally disintegrate her and will capture Constantinople.  When Russia invades Turkey, the Greek army will return to its bases.  Fortunately up until this time Greece will not have lost one person. In the meantime Turkey will completely disintegrate and will slowly be divided into three sections.  One third of the Turks will die in the war.  One third will flee into the depths of Asia as far as the Red Apple according to St. Kosmas of Aitolia.  And the last one third will become Christians.  Then the Russian army will reach as far south as Jerusalem and Iraq and will engage in great skirmishes. America and a few European countries, in seeing these developments will move their forces to the area and will pressure Russia to stop. The Russians will be given five to six months to remove their forces.  But finally, these forces will attack the Russians and Russia will lose the war along with her ally the Chinese. This battle will be catastrophic, known as the third world was.  After this, we will take Constantinople.  It may appear strange but I will explain how all this will come to pass.  Let us analyze this great battle, the third world war.

                According to the Elder Joseph of the Vatopedi Monastery, seven hundred million people will die in this battle, just soldiers.  It is certain that a great slaughter will take place.  Saint Kosmas of Aitolos mentions that the calf will swim in the blood.  It seems also strange that Greece will not have any victims neither will it take place in the war.  But according to the Elder Paisios this will be allowed by God because we are Orthodox Christians.

                The war will last three days and nights and it will take place near Constantinople.  According to St. Andrew destructive weapons will be used but almost immediately after they will be dissolved.  He is speaking here about missiles.  A fearful miracle will occur on the third day of the war.  A star will appear that is just like the star of Bethlehem and a voice will come forth from the star telling the people the conclusion to the war.  The star will then shine on a place in Greece where a holy man lives.  He must become a King according to the things he says.  The whole world at this point will have lost it emotionally but it will discover this man and it will make him their leader.  The Elder Paisios says that during this time the Second Coming of Christ will not happen but a great Kingdom of God will rule.  It is during this time period that will allow us to take control of Constantinople.  All the people of the world will at this time acquire a great interest in Christianity.  The Elder Paisios tells us that people at that time will grab by the hand and will speak to us about Christ and it will be difficult to find an unbelieving person.  It is self-evident that these things will happen.  This man of God will reign for thirty two to thirty six years.  During his reign we will all live like rich people since they will banish rich pleasures.  From here on we have the prophecies of Saint Andrew from that period up until the time of the antichrist and the end of the world.  At the end of the kingdom of the holy person quite a few fearful dictators will appear.  After them will come the antichrist and the Second Coming of the Lord (the end of this world).
