AN UNBELIEVABLE MIRACLE IS TAKING PLACE AT THE

ST. SOPHIA CHURCH IN CONSTANTINOPLE

PRIESTS HAVE APPEARED THERE TO PEOPLE OUT OF THIN AIR

            We can call it a coincidence.  We can say it is something good that has occurred at the right time.  On June 8, 2016, we wrote an article about an act that has profaned the sanctity of St. Sophia Church in Constantinople for Orthodox Christians throughout world.  The following day, Thursday, morning, the Greek Minister of External Affairs in Athens, Nicholas Kotzias spoke on the radio station Alpha 989 saying: “In our first announcement concerning what was happening in St. Sophia in Constantinople, we first wanted to verify that what we were hearing from Turkey was true. He said that the Greek Counsel in Constantinople told him that he was near the Church at 3 a.m. in the morning in order to get an eye-witness account of the event.     

            He said: “Is it true about the stories that are circulating amongst the crypto-Christians of Constantinople? We feel that the televised program of the Turks from St. Sophia profaned the sanctity of the Church of the Divine Wisdom of God.  The story is about what the security cameras recorded as well as what the security guards witnessed inside the Church.  The guards saw with their own eyes the presence of three Orthodox priests who then suddenly disappeared in a blinding Light.  But these guards also said that two of the three priests had censers and were incensing the interior of the Church.  They were incensing in the direction of where the altar and the icon screen would have been located.  They were also incensing in the direction of the bishop’s throne.  While the incensing was taking place, the little bells attached to the censers could clearly be heard.  They also heard clearly the rhythmic footsteps of the priests.  The priests were seen standing on the bema before the altar and they were kneeling before the icon of the Holy Mother.

            The guards upon seeing this other-worldly apparition of the three priests they attempted to apprehend them.  In their attempt to capture them, the priests suddenly disappeared in a burst of Light.  When the security guards attempted to catch them, they lost all sense of feeling.  This happened to them many other times when encountering this apparition.  In hearing these reports from St. Sophia, the Turks suddenly felt threatened by the apparitions and they thought they were losing control of the Church.  It is maybe because of these apparitions that the Turks decided to start televising the reading of the Koran from the Church.  (A note from the editor:  We have read a number of stories recently about St. Sophia and how it frightens the Turks.  They seem to have an innate fear that the Great Church will once again be taken from them.)

            It appears that the Heavens have decided that other things will happen to these monuments of the Constantinople.  This is the information and these are the reports we have received that move us emotionally.   But in addition to all these things about profaning the sanctity of St. Sophia by the reading the Koran in this Orthodox Church, a Turkish scientist wrote the following:  “On March 31, 2016, it was observed by people who were in or near Saint Sophia that there was a strong fragrance of incense that permeated the whole area.  This phenomenon was observed a year ago.  At night when I would walk around those imposing structures of the Church, Saint Sophia was filled clouds of fragrant incense like that which is used in Orthodox Churches.  This not only happened to me but it was experienced by others. The first time that I encountered this phenomenon and made note of it, was on the night of January 13^th, 2015.  When I realized the significance of this date, I was shocked and shuddered with emotion.  It was on the 13^th of January, 2015 that St. Paisius was canonized a Saint of the Orthodox Church.” 

            Finally, my dear friends, we may write about the rumors we have heard, the incidences that have happened or the witnesses that have seen these things but the actions of the Ottoman Turks reveal more to us than anything else.  Their actions prove to us that what is happening in St. Sophia is true.  It is the will of God that the City will be surrendered to us and Saint Sophia will function again as an Orthodox Christian Church as reported by Dr. Constantine Vardakas. (We all know this is in the prophecies of Sts. Paisius and Kosmas).
