It was the spring of 2005 in Georgia. In a small town, where there was a peculiar house, lived an ordinary believing family. The brightest member of this family was Irakli - a 6-year-old boy who loved to sing! He also sang in the church, where his grandmother took him. He always sang. In winter, when the entire town was asleep, he jumped out onto the balcony and began to sing in a funny childish voice. In the summer, the boy gathered his peers and gave concerts to neighbors in the street, which were so funny that they were always looking forward to the beginning of the "great tours".
They were used to the fact that every day he will sing and delight them with his new repertoire. But, alas, something began to happen to him ... In April he no longer wanted to sing and jump, as before - they had a feeling that their street began to grow old. It wasn't so fun anymore. It was noticeable that some strange, inexplicable feeling tormented this child's heart. A feeling caused by the fact that he was greatly offended, or, as many said, a feeling of unrequited love for people. It's like a long, dreary dream, days without solo concerts of Irakli. They were worried, and, naturally, his parents! It was strange that, during the sunset, he disappeared for an hour or two, and no one could find it. And he himself after his reappearance did not tell anything about his secret wanderings. They took him to a neurologist who did not find anything wrong and let the child go home,
It was the last week of April a loud voice of their dissatisfied neighbor was heard yelling: "There! The thieves! The thieves! They did not know what to steal, and so they have stolen my bottles!.
- Or maybe she put it somewhere and forgot? Asked the neighbors.
But no .. the mother of Irakli too was indignant, said that a few days ago bottles were gone.
It was a thief who made his way through the walls and stole only bottles! It was funny and strange at the same time!
April 28, 10 am. Irakli is not at home, he disappeared somewhere. This he never did. They called the police - the boy was gone! They lived through everything, Irakli's grandmother was in tears, lamented: "What Easter this will be ... The boy is gone ... Lord, I know, You are being tortured, but help! Please help me...". Half an hour later, the parents were called by the Police to come into the city to the store where Irakli was with bottles.
"Son, son, is everything okay with you ?!"
Irakli cried ... The store owner says: "In the morning at 9 o'clock this young man showed up with bottles. We buy them for 10 tetri (4 rubles). I was surprised, asked why he was alone, and called the police, I thought that probably the child was looking for his parents. "
And Irakli spoke, sobbing:
- You are angry people, the police have been called! Yes, I stole bottles and wanted to sell! Tomorrow the funeral of Jesus Christ, I wanted to bring Him flowers! I wanted to buy flowers for Him. He's dying tomorrow. Father told me that on Friday he would be killed, and that His mother was crying, and we all should do everything in order to ease her grief. I wanted to buy roses! He so waited for Easter and so hoped that He would also paint Easter eggs and celebrate this day with His Mama. And you called the police.
"Tomorrow is the funeral of Jesus Christ, I wanted to bring him flowers!"
All at first dumbfounded with surprise, and then wept! They cried not only because they were touched by the fact that Irakli wanted to buy flowers for Jesus, that he wanted to be near to the Virgin, but also because at that moment a real sincere experience for the death of Christ was felt by the young boy, a cheerful boy who so childishly wanted to comfort the Mother of God and, though unconsciously, but still went to the funeral of Our good Shepherd!
The store owner silently took the bottles and handed the boy three lari. Irakli took the money with tears in his eyes and rushed headlong into the flower shop. He bought flowers. Everyone was wondering where he would carry these flowers. The next day Irakli got up, went to church and cried for a long time before the Crucifixion! And with him, and Father George, who at the same time explained to Irakli that in two days the Lord will rise again!
The answer was naive, filled with tears of joy, Irakli's eyes and the words: "Well, but today He is dying!".
