THEY SHARE YOUR INFIRMITY

An Orthodox Christian woman told about herself. She was terminally ill and it was very difficult for her to live. She was especially worried about people who caused her suffering. Someone special, someone just by their evil intent. When these temptations became too much, she was completely dejected and, in her despair, she wanted to die, because faith began to weaken within her. And then one day she had a conversation with an old man. He told her a lot of things, but she agreed to tell us only the most important thing.

He gave her advice, very deep and valuable:
"You rejoice when you are offended, slandered, deceived, when they steal something, because they share with your tears, your suffering, your weakness, your illness. They are your benefactors, and they themselves do not know that they take upon themselves your infirmity. Wish them well more often, forgive them. "

At first it was difficult for her to do this. But through strength,  she got used to it and began to rejoice, to forgive, to love, and had compassion on them.

A year later, she recovered completely from her incurable disease.

But a few people who offended her died.
