- Suffering in this world is a sign of God's chosenness. And if a person shows patience and does not grumble, the suffering will become the wings that will lift him after death to heaven. Perhaps, for the sake of the aching baby, his parents will be saved, and the blessing of God will spread to the descendants of the whole family.
