“Let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak…” (James 1:19)

To be quick to hear and slow to speak means having both humility and respect for others. It means you take the necessary time to really listen to someone instead of simply interjecting or blurting out your opinion prematurely. To be quick to hear and slow to speak shows the value, worth, and love you place on others.
