Orthodox Christians use icons of Christ............

Orthodox Christians use icons of Christ, the Theotokos, and Saints for the same reason people have pictures of family members and loved ones hanging in their homes or carry them within their wallets (and phones). We are proud of them. They are part of our “family.” We look to them in both remembrance and hope.
