Rev. Arsenie Papacioc Commemorated at Techirghiol Monastery .

13 August 2011, father Arsenie Papacioc was commemorated at his grave at Saint Mary – Techirghiol Monastery. The remembrance service was celebrated by His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, assisted by a group of priests in the presence of the monastic community and of many faithful.

To end with the service, the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church delivered a sermon in which he evoked the life and activity of the worthy remembering father Arsenie Papacioc. His Beatitude has also evoked in his speech the important role of the father confessor in the life of the faithful. The Patriarch of Romania showed that the father confessor is the voice of Christ, because it is a permanent rendering of the words of the Holy Fathers, while the three main sources guiding them are: the Holy Scriptures, Holy Fathers and their own experience.

“In the speech delivered His Beatitude has also evoked some of his encounters with father Arsenie when he used to come to Techirghiol as student, meet him and ask him for advice”, as Rev. Archimandrite Cleopa Nistor, father confessor of Saint Mary – Techirghiol Monastery reported to Trinitas Radio station.

His Beatitude has also told those present that the place where father Arsenie lived his life, here, at the Monastery in Techirghiol, namely his cell, will be turned into a museum so that all those who will come to the monastery and go into the museum should feel as if father Arsenie were still here.

Rev. Archimadrite Cleopa Nistor, father confessor of Saint Mary Monastery of Techirghiol also informs us that many priests from all over the country who had met father Arsenie come to his grave and celebrate remembrance services for the great father confessor, promoter of the love of the Holy Trinity.
