Izzedin Kaykaus was the Sultan Kaykaus II of the Seljuqs of Rûm (1246-1257), sharing the throne with his brothers. His mother was Greek & he had aid from the Nikaia Empire. He has defeated by the Mongols & fled to the Byzantine court. From there escaped to Berke Han of Crimea.
