September 18, 324. Battle of Chrysopolis. The army of Emperor Constantine I consisting of 105,000 men & fighting under Christian standards, annihilates the pagan army of Emperor Licinius numbering 120,000 men. Licinius escapes with 30,000 survivors but soon surrenders.
