On Sep 11 the Church remembers the Holy Martyr Violet +362, an elderly woman who lived at the edge of the Roman and Persian empires. King Shapur II captured her and 9,000 Christians at Bet-Zabde. She attempted to evangelize the Persians. For this she was tortured and beheaded.
