St. Justin, Martyr (162)St. Justin was converted from pagan philosophy to Christianity. He became the most illustrious opponent of pagan philosophers, and opened in Rome the first school of Christian philosophy. He was scourged and beheaded under the Emperor Marcus Aurelius.
