A lid for one of the porphyry sarcophagi outside the Istanbul Archaeological Museum was found underneath a tree in the courtyard of the Topkapi palace. It is speculated that it is the sarcophagus of Julian the Apostate, and clearly came from the church of the Holy Apostles.
