“Hosanna in the highest!” (Mark 11:10)

“Hosanna in the highest!” (Mark 11:10)

The Hebrew word Hosanna basically means, “save us,” “help us,” or “please deliver us.” By adding “in the highest,” it invokes a plea to heaven and God above to make it happen. Thus, it was a Messianic prayer/phrase asking God to come and offer salvation to His people.
