“Let no one deceive himself.” (1st Cor. 3:18)

Sitting in church doesn’t make you a follower of Christ any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car. To be a Christian takes great effort, discipline, self-sacrifice, humility, and a willingness to submit to God's will.

You can outwardly pretend to be a Christian, possibly even decieving those around you, but you can never really deceive yourself or God.
