"LET US BE BORN AGAIN IN CHRIST"

At Christmas, those who want to worship the newborn Christ,

they must resemble the first pilgrims of Christ,

the three wise men, Gaspar, Balthasar and Melchior.

I want to liken you to them.

Ilias the Meniate says that the forty days of fasting that we have traveled are a long spiritual path.

 If you travel this path, he says, with expectation, with love, with patience, with faith, then you will reach Bethlehem with your soul prepared and you will worthily partake of the DIVINE GIFTS and then you will be like the Magi, who made a long journey, not forty days, perhaps forty weeks, to come from the depths of the East.

My brothers, how many obstacles did they encounter!!

how many dangers on the road, what fatigue, what hunger, what thirst, the beasts, the rivers, what evil people and robbers!!!

And yet they did not back down, they had made a Decision.....!!

 My dear brothers, let this be my wish, that we make the DECISION with our hearts so that we may be reborn in Christ.
