Sadly, this is a time of year when patience.....

Sadly, this is a time of year when patience often yields to frustration, fulfillment turns to greed, and “enough,” is simply…not enough. Instead of journeying with the Star towards Bethlehem, we often find ourselves traversing Advent in reverse order, moving steadily away from the Manger rather than nearing it.

Therefore, in these days of excess and ado, let us make the rational decision to abandon the frivolous, commercial, wholesale aspects of the impending Christmas holiday for the truest and most fulfilling realities of the Nativity itself: God becoming Man in the Birth of the Messiah.
