"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." (Matt. 12:25)
Division amongst people divides that which is whole and chips away at its strength, power, and focus. It makes things less stable, weaker; something we know all too well in this time of extreme polarization over political, religious, moral, and ethical issues. Still, in a world so divided, we can all find common ground at the foot of the Cross.
