 ELDER, what is your opinion about the position of the Crucified behind the Holy Table?

 - My dear child, in these matters there is no point of view or plan, but what the Tradition of our Church brings and teaches.

 Some time ago I had visited the Mother Church of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

 You know, in the beautiful Principonnisa is also the famous Chalki School.

 And there, but also in all the Churches of the Patriarchate, they have the Crucified Christ, as an inviolable tradition, behind the Holy Table.

 In fact, they are so attached to the Holy Cross that they even painted Christ on the back of the Crucified, while here in Greece we have plywood on the back of the Crucified.

 I do not think, therefore, that the callous stubbornness of a Greek Metropolitan can exceed and even exceed this order of our Liturgical ark, of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

 Time and history will judge us!
