Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God,

One old woman lived in a village near Yaroslavl. For ten years she had been lying on the bed motionless: her legs could not move. In the corner of the room hung Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, which the old woman often prayed.

One day she heard a knock, as if something had fallen, and a voice: "Arise and lift." I looked around and outside the window - no one. She thought she heard something. A minute later, someone's voice came again: "Stand up and lift." The old woman was scared in earnest, replied to the void: “How will I get up when I lie motionless for so many years?” But for the third time, the voice had already firmly ordered: “To you, get up and lift.”

Then suddenly the woman felt strength in herself, lowered her legs to the floor and went into that corner from which she heard a voice. What did she see? The icon without a that hung in the corner lay on the floor, split into two parts. The old woman raised the icon to connect the two halves - and the icon seemed to grow together. True, not very smooth - with the Mother of God one side of the face turned out to be higher than the other.

But since then, the old woman does not get sick, walks cheerfully and does not complain about anything.
