A true story:

It is said that the monks, in one of the monasteries, once observed that the crows, in the fruit season, were rushing to the monastery grove, picking up each fruit and taking it away. The monks were surprised at the work of the crows and wanted to know where the birds were going! They observed and followed them. The ravens entered into a thick forest which was difficult to walk n.

The monks did not retreat from the path, but followed their path with determination, as if something inside them was pushing them to do so. After much fatigue and difficulties, they reached a cave where the crows came and put the fruit in it and then left.

The monks entered into the cave, and were surprised at what they discovered. There were people in the cave; three nuns. They were surprised and glorified God. What brought them to this place ?! Glory be to God! The sisters tell their story.

The elder said that she was the wife of a nobleman in the city of Constantinople, and suddenly her husband died. Another man came and wanted her to be his wife by force, she did not want it. She did not want to marry after the death of her husband because the world was small in her eyes. The joys of this life no longer mean anything to her. She realized that nothing was worth living for and dying for but Christ. When she wanted to devote herself to living with Christ, she distributed everything she owned to the poor, and fled, accompanied by two servants, and came to this cave.

In this cave, the three women lived as nuns who came and prayed. They knew no one and no one knew them except God. The Lord God blessed them and rejoiced in their work, as the crows were sent to them to give them food.

While the three women were telling their story, the monks noticed the light on their faces, so they glorified God.
The monks asked the abbot if they could take them to the Holy places to take communion. After they had eaten for three days, the Lord God took them in peace, because they had completed their work on earth, and God wanted to bring them into His joy.

The monks then buried them and returned to the monastery to tell everyone their stories
