When you become a Christian and come to the Church,
you should not be selfishly satisfying your individual religious desires.
This kind of attitude brings forth the desire to push
away others while standing in the church - when you are annoyed by the person
standing next to you.
We find it hard to love one another and the only
reason is that I mistakenly think that I came to the church and there is only
me and Christ, only me and God, and my salvation.
In reality, this is not the way it should be. We came
here to build the mystical body of Christ.
Do you remember what the Lord says? “by this everyone
will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John. 13:35)
If we do not love one another, then we are not
Christians, and we are struggling and suffering pointlessly by standing here
for hours, for years.
In other words, our unity is extremely important.
According to the Gospel, our unity is God’s will and we mention this quite
often.
We have asked many times: I wonder what is the will of
God?
One of the things that is the will of God is for us to
be one.
