Today’s Sermon in a Nutshell:
The gospel narratives contain multiple lessons and layers of learning yet, if you could distill them into one solitary theme, it would be love. Not earthly, human, tainted love, but true, supreme God-like love; the love exemplified by Christ Who accepted all, even those whom we might consider to be unacceptable. Saints and sinners both, were recipients of Jesus’ love for it was all-encompassing, not selective or discriminating. This is the exact same love our Lord continues to show us today, and the exact same love He expects us to show each other!
