This story
was told by a Greek man who came from Asia Minor. He said that in their
village, in Minor Asia, they had a spring with Holy water. Once, when one of
their animals got sick, his father sent a Turkish boy who was serving him to
bring some Holy water from the spring.
However, the
boy was tired and he just got some water from the nearby stream. When he
brought the water and the father sprinkled it on the animal, the animal
immediately got up and was healthy.
Then the Turk
was shocked and confessed: “Master, the faith of the Christians is great. The
water is not from the spring of the Holy water. ” But because the father
accepted it as Holy water and because he had faith, the animal was cured.
