"Therefore comfort each other and edify one another." (1st Thessalonians 5:11)

"Therefore comfort each other and edify one another." (1st Thessalonians 5:11)

Sometimes this above verse is translated as, "encourage each other and  build one another up," which I tend to like as it is so positive compared to ripping people apart.

In the church we are called upon to support one another and recognize other's merits, rejoicing in them without jealousy or envy, as every good work helps to build and promote not only Christ's Church, but the Kingdom of God!
