There
once was a girl who was tormented day and night by a demon. Her family had
taken her to various doctors without being able to effectively help her.
Even
priests have not been able to help her. And the demon, often dense, talked
through the girl and assured everyone that all their efforts were in vain and
that only the "Nightmare" could pull him out of the girl's body. At
some point the relatives of the young woman decided to turn to Saint Nectarios.
So one day, they took the girl and went to venerate the tomb of the Saint at
the monastery of Aegina. As soon as they approached the tomb, the evil spirit
began shouting through the girl "My Nightmare, My Nightmare". The
evil spirit that had taken over the girl's body was afraid of this
"Nightmare".
The
next day, at work, the girl fell unconscious. When she woke up after a few
minutes, she was free from the evil spirit.
Saint
Nectarios had done another miracle:
When
they opened the tomb of the Saint (after his repose it was opened several
times), they found that his nails had grown as if he were alive.
