Kilninian - the Church of Ninian - is one of the oldest, still standing churches in the Celtic Isles on Scotland. It was built in 1755 on the foundation of a sixth or seventh century monastery on the Isle of Mull, Inner Hebrides.
Six months ago, we started a campaign to raise the necessary funds to repair the roof of Kilninian and make the building wind- and waterproof again. Thanks to all of you, we have now started the works and we hope to finish by the end of summer. Thanks to you and your help, we have given this ancient monument a new beginning.
The Celtic history, the historical significance, the Christian heritage this site has gathered since the sixth century are preserved for one more generation.
Thank you everyone! Make sure to follow the development of the works, and please continue to support us at https://mullmonastery.com
