Sadly, we very much live in a youth-oriented, death-denying culture that, even when death occurs, has morticians who craftily "beautify" a corpse to disguise its deadness and make the deceased's body appear as if it is merely "sleeping." Yet all-the-more sadly, such attitudes and actions prevail as our society distances itself from God and reality.
