“Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
The devil is powerless where he isn’t invited, where his presence isn’t wanted. Therefore, if you go to church, pray, wear a cross, make the sign of the cross upon yourself (after all, it’s your spiritual sword), adhere to God’s commandments, refrain from sinning, and try to love all around you as Christ loves you, then the devil becomes powerless and has no way of entering you. And if he does send temptations your way, angels will keep watch and help guard you!
