“I set My rainbow in the cloud…” (Gen 9:13)

After the waters of the flood had receded and Noah offered a burnt sacrifice, God established an everlasting covenant – often referred to as the “Noahic Covenant” – promising to never again destroy all life by water. And as a sign and “seal” of His faithfulness and mercy, God set a rainbow in the sky; yet another beautiful, awe-inspiring, gift to His creation in which we delight after storms.
