Where have we heard before that a harlot is the example of the faithful of the church ? Those who are "religious " lovers of the law and of the pretense cannot handle this .Because they have learned to measure everything in life in a scale and with a measuring scoop , in order to appear rather then to actually be . For them the implementation of the commencements of God is a hiding place , a fortress of their " ego" , which must be fed with self assurances , wins and successes.
The " self pious " want to to defeat God and not to be defeated by HIS love . For them The Kingdom of God is an achievement and a conquering task , never a gift and mercy .
However , The God of the Church is strange and paradoxical .He loves surprises and overthrows .Thus HIS Kingdom is a complete overthrow of our perceptions . There , will not exist the perfect but those who have repented , not the impeccable but rather the honest ones , not the unwrinkled ones but the shattered from the hardships of life .
As long as WE keep believing in our " virtues " and our " morals " , in our victories and spiritual achievements , God will keep filling the heavens with harlots and tax collectors ." Amen amen , I say to you ,that the tax collectors and harlots are leading you in the Kingdom of God "
