Once the king rolled out a huge stone on the road, and he hid himself to see who would take it out of the way. Many passed by, loudly scolding the king for not following the roads, but none of them thought to remove the stone from the road. Finally, near the stone stopped a poor peasant, and rolled it into a roadside ditch. And under the stone, to his surprise, the peasant found a full sack of gold and a letter from the king, in which he explained that this was his reward to someone who would take away the stone that had blocked everyone from the road. So also our King has put His blessing under each test. All the obstacles encountered on our way are not accidental. God tests our faithfulness, with His help, turns our gaze on Him and it gives us a chance to receive a spiritual reward. Under the stones of severe trials, special blessings are hidden.
