"What must we do, to be doing the works of God?" (John 6:28)
When you go to work, your main objective is to obtain items necessary for the body: nourishment, clothing, and shelter. All of these things are needful, but only from a temporal, self-centered perspective. Doing the works of God, however, serves all of humanity and brings glory to God; and such works as these are everlasting. Every good deed performed on earth in Jesus' Name is placed in God's eternal treasury and are counted in our favor upon death. Therefore, strive to do the will and works of God so that you, yourself, might find everlasting life in God's Kingdom.
