"...and Jesus went out and sat by the Sea of Galilee." (Matthew 13:1)
Our Lord was not only a man of bold word and action, but He also took His alone time seriously. There are moments recorded in scripture where He went off by himself to be alone with His Father and to pray.
He also undoubtedly spent some alone time in order think, reflect, meditate, and be contemplative - recharging His batteries, if you will.
We also need time alone and time to be quiet, especially given the constant demands and stress this world puts upon us.
As we go through our busy day, make time to just sit, be quiet, and contemplate God. This is an important component to a quality prayer life.
