“To whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48).

“To whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48).

This statement of Jesus' has become an idiom in our culture and is often paraphrased. Yet each form harkens back to the fact that we are accountable for how we use what we are given. Therefore, all blessings, whether they be talents, skills, wealth, knowledge, or time, are to be employed for the glory of God and the extension of His Kingdom.
