“As for the rich in the world...” (1st Tim. 6:17)

In the closing verses of his first epistle to Timothy, St. Paul offers advice regarding those who possess great wealth: instructing them to be good stewards with their resources “to do good; to be rich in good deeds, liberal, and generous” (1st Tim. 6:18). Therefore, how one chooses to use their money might be considered a window into their inner character and a barometer of spiritual maturity.
