When Jacob Marely visits Scrooge, he says that he suffers the most during the Christmas season because of his selfishness and greed. Marley laments, "Why did I walk through crowds of fellow-beings with my eyes turned down, and never raise them to that Blessed Star which led the Wise Men to a poor abode? Were there no poor homes to which its light would have conducted me!"
Remember what you have and those who have not. Count your blessings by sharing those blessings with the less fortunate, for this is how we show our gratitude and love of God!
