“You have become dull in hearing” (Hebrews 21:11).

“Dull of hearing” does not mean that one is unintelligent or incapable of understanding, it simply indicates a sluggishness, indolence, or laziness in learning because of a conscience decision to ignore the Word of God. It is akin to filtering information and deeming it as unimportant; letting something go in one ear and out the other.
