OUR LIFE IN THIS WORLD

            St. John tells us the following about our life in this world.  He says: “Your life in this world is boxed in from all sides.  All things around you will abandon you: your relatives, your friends, your fellow human beings, your wealth, the enjoyment of your senses, and even your body at one point in life will abandon you.   All the elements of nature fool you.  For all these reasons, we should become close to God because only He is Love.”
