Touchiness is one of the most serious passions. It
shows that man is removed from God. After all, when God dwells in the heart of
man, man is filled with inner strength and courage. He can suffer any
weaknesses of his neighbors, does not lose peace and love, even if he is
insulted. On the contrary, a man who is devoid of grace and removed from God
does not have inner strength. He cannot tolerate even a gentle remark. He does
not perceive the love of people, everything is interpreted wrong. He
understands every, even good, action of his neighbors in a bad sense. And if a
touchy person does not feel the kindness of his neighbors, then the more he
does not understand their problems and difficulties. He feels only himself:
"I was told an unpleasant thing, I was offended, I was insulted." And
he will never think that another soul hurts, that's why he says unpleasant
things.
