"...at the right hand of God." (1st Peter 3:22)
When it comes to right and left, right is always best. In fact, the scriptures are rife with examples of how power comes through the "right hand" of God. Right is not only the opposite of wrong, but it also holds great significance and symbolism to Christ's followers as His hand of Rightousness.
The right hand of God symbolizes His Authority ( Luke 22:69); Blessing (Genesis 48:14); Strength (Exodus 15:6); Sacrifice (Exodus 29:20, Leviticus 8:23 & 14:7); God's Sovereignity (Revelation 1:16); as well as the hand by which God works His many miracles, dispenses mercy, bestows compassion, and offers love!
