Holy Assembly
of Orthodox Bishops in Belgrade Patriarchate in 2015 has proclaimed bishop
Mardarije (Uskokovich) of Libertyville (Chikago, USA) (1889-1935) a saint of
the Serbian Orthodox Church. In May 2017 his body was excavated from his tomb
in st. Sava Libertyville monastery, and Lord has confirmed the decision of the
Orthodox Church and has already celebrated st. Mardarije by keeping his body
intact, even though it was burried 82 years ago.
