“Transported”

Just as the walls of the Jerusalem Temple were adorned and decorated with images, so too are our Orthodox Churches with icons; not only allowing those who enter to worship and be “transported” into a different realm spiritually, but to be able to experience that transcendence as a multisensory experience.
