Fr.Sisoyev's missionary work.''Don't be afraid
to preach Christ''
About Fr.
Daniel Sisoyev
Dear Brothers
and Sisters in Christ, this year is the fifth year since the passing of a great
modern martyr, Father Daniel Sisoyev who dedicated his life preaching the
gospel to the Muslims and strengthening the faith of the Orthodox. He was
martyred in the parish where he served by a Chechen Muslim man.Father Daniel
was indeed a true, and faithful servant of Christ and His Church. He was
instrumental in bringing hundreds of Muslims to God, and was unafraid and also
uncompromising when speaking the truth. A true servant of God, and it grieves
me greatly that I did not ever have a chance to get the blessing from this true
and holy priest. Below is a wonderful article about this Godly pastor that I
wanted to share with all of you, in which three men speak of how Father Daniel
impacted their lives. I can especially relate to the case of the young Armenian
man since I myself had to make a very similar decision when God opened my eyes
to the true faith. I have also taken the liberty of highlighting (all portions
bold and underlined) a few points in the article that I PERSONALLY consider
relevant today. Today his prayers join the countless other martyrs for our Holy
and True faith as he intercedes for us all. Through the prayers of Father
Daniel, may God strengthen us to follow his Christ-like example in an age of
apathy, political correctness and gross corruption.

On November
20, 2014, five years passed since the day that priest Daniel Sisoyev’s life was
cut short; he was murdered in the Church of the Apostle Thomas where he served.
Many people remember him thankfully, and testify to how his words and example
influenced their lives. Today we publish the stories of three young men from
the Caucasus Mountain region, who were connected with Fr. Daniel.
