Just as Christ was the epitome of gentleness and meekness, He expects His followers acquire and practice these same traits, following His example. Thus, in dealing with others we must be tender, loving, humble, and fair. Being gentle and meek indicates graciousness and respect, and a firm desire to extend mercy to others; exercising this trait even over all of God’s creation.
