As we begin the New Year we find many parts of this world embroiled in the sad constant of war and strife; championing conflict instead of concord. Such nations claim that war is a necessary evil, but no matter how "necessary" their justification, it is still nevertheless evil, never good. Manking will never learn to live in peace as long as we keep killing each others children.
Christ came to bring us Peace, a peace He won through the Cross, which is the ultimate "weapon of peace." Therefore, in this New Year, let us redouble our prayerlife to humbly beseech our God to bestow peace and tranquility upon His creation and bring and end to the conflicts that seperate this world. Let love reign!
