“House of Prayer.”

The Temple in Jerusalem was often called the “House of God” (Ezra 5:2) because God chose that place to metaphorically “dwell” and meet with His people (Ps 132:13-14). And because prayer was so integrally an aspect and connected to worship, it also became known as a “House of Prayer.”
