“These people…honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.” (Matthew 15:8)

If you truly wish to honor God, offering prayer and thanksgiving, your words must first pass through your heart before they pass through your lips. Otherwise, you are simply giving “lip service” instead of “heart service.”
