Father Gabriel sat on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi,
with icons lying next to him, and in his hands he held a cross. He boldly and
loudly preached about God. Police officers several times demanded that he stop
the sermon, but he did not stop. When nothing worked, he was put in a
motorcycle stroller and taken to a police station. Father Gabriel took this
opportunity, got on his feet in a motorcycle carriage and continued to preach
in a thunderous voice: “Love our Lord Jesus Christ! Love the Life-Giving Cross!

The police officer asked: “What did you do this for
?!” - “I’m nothing, it was you who gave me a ride around the city!” Father Gabriel answered joyfully. He
was so fearless.
